Tim Larkin was an outstanding player for the Holy Cross football team in the early 1900s.
A three-year starter at quarterback, he served as team captain during his senior year in 1904.
Standing just 5’7” and never weighing more than 135 pounds, Larkin was also a coxswain for the Wachusett Boat Club that finished second in a national regatta on Lake Quinsigamond during his freshman year.
Following his graduation, he served as the Crusaders’ head coach from 1907-1912, posting an overall record of 18-25-8.
Larkin also earned a law degree in 1909, and later became a reporter for the Worcester Gazette.
He passed away in 1960.
