Chris Potter was a standout forward for head coach George Blaney’s basketball teams from 1974-1978.
A four-year starter, Potter helped lead the Crusaders to an overall record of 85-31, with the team winning at least 20 games in each of his four years. Holy Cross advanced to the NCAA Tournament during his junior year, in addition to making a pair of NIT appearances during his career.
At the time of his graduation, Potter held the all-time school record for assists (470), while ranking third in both points (1,789) and rebounds (1,019). He was just the third player in program history to record over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.
A four-time NABC All-District and three-time All-New England selection, Potter also earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors following his junior and senior seasons.
