Jerome Fuller was a two-sport star for the Crusaders in football and baseball.

On the gridiron, he was named a first team All-American in 1991, in addition to being selected All-East and All-New England. During the 1991 season, he set school-single season records for most yards gained (1,465) and most 100-yard games (nine). Fuller also received the Johnny Turco Memorial Trophy as the Most Valuable Player of Holy Cross’ 1991 homecoming game, after rushing for 164 yards and two scores in a 45-0 win over Penn.

On the diamond, Fuller played catcher and in the outfield, earning first team All-Patriot League honors in 1991 and 1992. He batted .369 with a school record 20 stolen bases as a senior in 1992, while throwing out 23 of 25 runners on the basepaths and earning first team All-New England honors. As a junior in 1991, Fuller hit .382 with 11 stolen bases.

Fuller is one of just three athletes in school history to be honored by the Varsity Club in two sports, as he received the Davitt Award as the football team’s top back and the Riopel Award as the baseball team’s top player.
