Mike Emmons was a star member of the Crusader men’s swimming and diving team from 1999-2003.

He set program records in seven different individual events, swimming the fastest times in school history in the 500-yard freestyle (4:38.11), 1,000-yard freestyle (10:01.66), 1,650-yard freestyle (16:46.28), 100-yard butterfly (51.84), 200-yard butterfly (1:53.62), 200-yard individ-ual medley (1:58.17) and 400-yard individual medley (4:12.17).

Emmons was also a member of teams which set school records in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:27.03), 400-yard freestyle relay (3:11.59), 800-yard freestyle relay (7:02.49), 200-yard med-ley relay (1:39.53) and 400-yard medley relay (3:34.34).

He won a school record 106 individual races over the course of his four years, and was named the team’s MVP three times.

Emmons was also an eight-time finalist at the Patriot League Championship, and scored a total of 115 points at the Patriot League Championship in his career.
