Holy Cross Athletics

A native of Chicopee, Mass., Michelle Fagnant came to Holy Cross following a standout career at Holyoke Catholic High School.

She had the distinction of participating in all 134 of the team’s games during her four years as a Crusader.

As a freshman, Fagnant split her time between catcher and designated hitter, but became a full-time starter behind the plate as a sophomore and thereafter.

As outstanding hitter, Fagnant had a career batting average of .361. At the time of her graduation, she held school record in hits (112), runs batted in (64), doubles (38), triples (14) and home runs (8).

She was named first team All-MAAC and first team All-New England as a freshman, before earning first team All-Patriot League honors during both her junior and senior years. Fagnant was also a second team All-ECAC selection as a senior.
