Hall of Fame
George Waddleton was a two-year starter and three-year member of the Holy Cross men’s basketball team.
He helped the Crusaders to an overall record of 53-24, with the team advancing to the NCAA Tournament in 1956 and the National Invitation Tournament in 1955.
Waddleton earned All-New England honors during both his junior and senior seasons, while leading the team with an average of 18.5 points per game as a senior captain.
He also led the team in scoring in 11 out of 24 games during his senior year, including a career-high 29 points against New York University.
