Holy Cross Athletics

In 1919, Harold Gagnon was selected as a shortstop for the All-Eastern first team.

In 1921, he was presented the silver loving cup for the best all-around athlete at Holy Cross, and in 1922 he captained his team to an impressive 24-5 record.

Gagnon was named the first captain under Coach Jack Barry in 1921 and would go on to play shortstop professionally with Detroit.
