Ed Siudut was an All-American while playing for Everett High School and the leading scorer as a freshman at Holy Cross while leading the freshman team to a 19-1 record.
He was chosen by Basketball News as one of the top ten sophomores in the nation, and was chosen on the All-Tournament teams in the Hurricane Classic and the Kodak Classic.
Siudut was the fifth-leading scorer in program history at the time of his graduation, totaling 1,611 points for an average of 22.4 points per game.
He earned third team All-America honors in 1968, while being named All-New England three times and All-East twice. Siudut was also a first team Academic All-American, an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholar and the 1969 Crusader of the Year.
Drafted by the San Francisco Warriors of the NBA and the New York Nets of the ABA, Siudut played professionally in Europe while pursuing graduate studies.
