Holy Cross Athletics

Nick Manzello covered Holy Cross as a sports writer and columnist with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for decades, beginning in 1962.

He received more than 70 media awards, including the 1978 United Press International award for outstanding feature story.

Manzello also served as the host for local radio and television shows in Worcester, and wrote a pair of books, entitled Sports Twisters and Legacy of the Gladiators.

He was also on the advisory board for the Norwich Navigators, and served as the chairman of the Massachusetts State Boxing Commission.
