Hall of Fame
Callie Taffe was the first female ever inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame.
She was a three-year swimming captain after matriculating from Haverhill, Mass.
Taffe earned All-America honors in the 50, 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events at the 1981 Division III National Championship, and was Co-Crusader of the Year in 1981.
She went on to earn a master’s degree in biology from Lowell University and a medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine.
