Cheryl Aaron played on teams which compiled an overall record of 80 wins and 30 losses and won an EAIAW championship and a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championship.

Her best performance was during her sophomore season when she went 14 of 18 from the field for 28 points against Fordham, and was chosen as conference's Player of the Week. She also scored 22 points in losing effort against Ohio State in the Crusaders' first NCAA tournament game ever.

At the time of her graduation, she ranked third all-time at Holy Cross (behind Sherry Levin and Janet Hourihan) with 1,539 points and a 14.1 scoring average. Aaron also ranked second in career assists when she graduated with 485 for a 4.4 average per game.  She was selected All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference three times and made the league's All-Tournament team in 1987.

She went on to play professionally in Ireland following her graduation from Holy Cross.
