Jim Maloney served as the secretary of the Varsity Club for decades, beginning in 1989.

He was previously the president of the Varsity Club from 1982-1984.

In addition, he began his tenure as a member of the Varsity Club Hall of Fame selection committee in the mid-1970s.

In 1994, Maloney received the Philip O’Connell Memorial Award as a member of the Varsity Club who has demonstrated outstanding service and loyalty to the club and to Holy Cross.

During his days as an undergraduate, he was a manager for the men’s basketball team from 1965-1969.
