Jackie McNiff was an outstanding distance runner for the Crusader track and cross country teams in the early 1980s.
A five-time All-America selection, she held every distance record at Holy Cross at the time of her graduation.
McNiff led the cross country team to the Eastern Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women title and a second place finish at the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women Division III National Championship in 1981.
During her senior year in 1982, the cross country squad won the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional championship and placed seventh at the NCAA Division II National Championship.
On the track, McNiff won two events while leading the Crusaders to a fourth-place finish in the AIAW Division III National Championship.
A team captain in both track and cross country, she earned Academic All-America honors following her senior year.
