Holy Cross Athletics

John Bezemes was a two-sport standout at Holy Cross, earning letters in both football and baseball.

An All-East choice in 1942 in football, he led the Crusaders to wins over Temple, North Carolina and Boston College and played a major role in Holy Cross' stunning 55-12 win over the Eagles in 1942.

He was also on Crusader baseball teams that won 25 of 30 games and played varsity basketball.
