Tom McCann was an outstanding end on the Holy Cross football team from 1949-1951.
Known as both a great receiver and outstanding blocker, he earned All-East and All-New England honors and played in the North-South Shrine Game in Miami following his senior year.
McCann was one of the top pass receivers in the East as a senior, when he caught 33 balls for 446 yards and a touchdown.
During his senior season, Holy Cross went 8-2 overall with wins over Harvard, Marquette and Colgate.
