Hall of Fame
Con Hurley was the regular left fielder at Holy Cross for four years. He played on teams that posted an overall record of 72-17, while winning the Eastern Intercollegiate Championship in both 1928 and 1929.
A great fielder and fine hitter, he later signed with John McGraw and the New York Giants. He also played under Casey Stengel in the minor leagues.
After a fine professional career, Hurley studied law and became one of the finest lawyers in Boston.
