Hall of Fame
Bob Hurley was a standout lineman on the Holy Cross football team from 1975-1978.
A three-year starter at guard, he helped pave the way for quarterback Peter Colombo and halfback Larry Ewald, who have both been inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame.
Hurley served as a captain of the 1978 Crusader squad which posted an overall record of 7-4, and led the team to victories over Boston College during both his junior and senior years.
He was twice named All-New England and All-East, in addition to being a two-time recipient of the Davitt Award as the team’s top lineman.
