Hall of Fame
Hank Lemire was a standout player on the Holy Cross football team in the early 1950s.
A two-time first team All-America selection at end, he led the Crusaders to an overall record of 21-9 during his collegiate career.
Lemire served as a team captain during his senior season, when he caught 15 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns.
A two-way performer, he was also named All-East and All-New England during his time at Holy Cross.
Following his senior year, Lemire was selected to participate in the East-West Shrine Game, where he played 50 of a possible 60 minutes.
