Holy Cross Athletics

Junior Joseph Mahon of the Holy Cross cross country team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Oct. 27 – Nov. 2. 

Mahon was Holy Cross’s top point scorer at the 2025 Patriot League Championship, hosted by Lehigh on Oct. 31. He came in third overall, crossing the finish at 24:23.5, picking up three points. The junior was named First Team All-Patriot League for his performance and is only the second Crusader in program history to earn this honor from the Patriot League (Sean McCarthy, 2000, First Team). Mahon and teammate Liam Lyons are the first two Holy Cross athletes to make an All-League team since 2003.

Holy Cross cross country returns to action on Friday, Nov. 14, when it takes part in the NCAA Northeast Regional held at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
