WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior Jolie Creo has been named the Crusader of the Week, for competition from March 15-21. Creo totaled 12 goals and three assists while leading the Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team to a 1-1 record in a pair of games last week.
During Wednesday’s 19-12 victory over Merrimack, Creo recorded a career-high eight goals and three assists for 11 points. She broke the all-time school single-game record for points scored, which had been held by Jen Amendola with 10 points against Villanova on April 29, 2000. Creo then concluded the week by scoring a team-high four goals in Sunday’s 19-8 loss at Massachusetts.
On the season, Creo leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and six assists for 24 points. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has totaled 95 points on 72 goals and 23 assists in 28 games played.
The Crusaders (2-2 overall, 1-1 Patriot League) return to action on Saturday, March 27, when they travel to Boston University for a 12:00 p.m. game.
