WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Juan Suau has been named the Crusader of the Week, for competition from April 5-11. Suau the Holy Cross men's golf team to a seventh-place finish in the Tumble Brook Invitational last Friday.
At the Tumble Brook Invitational, Suau finished in a tie for fifth place as an individual by shooting an even-par round of 72. He carded the lowest round of his collegiate career, with his previous best being a 76 against Colgate on March 27.
On the season, Suau is now averaging 76.3 strokes per 18 holes.
The Crusaders are scheduled to return to action with the Abarta Invitational at the Steel Club in Hellertown, Pa., from April 18-19.
