Holy Cross Athletics

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Zach Bubonovich has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from October 13-19. Bubonovich turned in a strong performance for the Holy Cross men’s swimming and diving team in a dual meet against Bucknell last Friday. 

During the meet against the Bison, Bubonovich won both the 100-yard breaststroke (57.23) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:07.47). In addition, he swam a leg on the 200-yard medley relay team that finished first and set a new Hart Center Pool record with a time of 1:33.61.

On the season, Bubonovich remains undefeated in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard breaststroke.

Holy Cross (0-2 overall) returns to action on Friday, Oct. 24, when it travels to Iona for a 4 p.m. meet.
