WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Joseph Mahon of the Holy Cross men’s cross country team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from August 31-September 6. Mahon won the 2026 Ken O'Brien Invitational with a time of 18:38.1 in the 6k on Saturday, Sept. 5 at UMass Amherst. The men’s cross country team captain took first place by more than 10 seconds in the Crusaders' season opener.

The Crusaders will be back in action on Saturday Sept. 19, competing in the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
