WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior forward Emily Crovo has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 5-11. Crovo tallied one goal and one assist to lead the Holy Cross women’s ice hockey team to a 3-1 victory over Boston College in its only game last week.
 
During Friday’s win over the Eagles, Crovo opened the scoring with a goal just 5:18 into the first period. She later set up a goal by senior forward Charlotte Sonntag early in the third period to help put the game away.
 
On the season, Crovo now ranks fifth on the team in scoring with 11 points on three goals and eight assists. Over the course of her collegiate career, she has totaled 38 points on 11 goals and 27 assists in 92 games played.
 
Holy Cross (15-7-1 overall, 7-6-1 Hockey East) returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 17, when it travels to Boston University for a 4 p.m. game.
