Location: Boston, Mass. (Charles River)
The Lead: The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in the 51st Head of the Charles Regatta. The Head of the Charles is the world's largest two-day rowing event.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The varsity eight placed 14th in the collegiate eight competition out of 41 boats with a time of 15:49.269. Hobart won with a time of 15:32.704. Results.
• On Saturday, the second varsity eight placed 24th in the club eight race out of 41 boats with a time of 16:18.609. Brown won with a time of 15:04.950. Results.

THE LINEUPS:

• Holy Cross Collegiate Eight:  J.T. Kearney (coxswain), Vince LaMonte, John Tanis, Sam Poryanda, Keenan Moore, Sean Horan, Chris Paul, Anthony Criscitiello, Jon Bachmann.
• Holy Cross Club Eight:  Christian Brooks (coxswain), Casey Norton, John Kane, Danny Mitchell, Robbie Carter, Jody Desmond, Luca Szczepanik, Will Callif, Chris Mudrick.
