Biography
2015-16:
- Raced on the varsity/collegiate eight at three fall events and three spring regattas
- Competed on the varsity eight that won the field of 18 boats at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 10)
- Member of the collegiate eight that came in 14th out of 41 boats at the Head of Charles Regatta (Oct. 17 & 18)
- Competed on the varsity eight that beat Trinity and Wesleyan (Apr. 23)
2014-2015:
- Member of the varsity eight in one fall regatta and all seven spring regattas
- Was a part of the varsity eight that finished fifth out of 19 boats at the Murphy Cup (3/28)
- Raced with the varsity eight that defeated Gonzaga (4/10)
- Rowed with the varsity eight that defeated #19 Georgetown to win the Healy Cup (4/18)
- Member of the varsity eight that placed first ahead of Hobart, Williams and Bucknell (4/25)
- Member of the varsity eight that defeated No. 16 Syracuse at the Eastern Sprints(5/17)
- Member of the varsity eight that finished a program-best 17th at the IRA National Championship (5/31)
2013-2014:
- Raced with the varsity eight in five of six spring regattas
- Member of the freshman eight that placed first at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 12)
- Part of the varsity club four that placed second out of 49 boats at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 20)
- Part of the varsity eight that defeated No. 20 UC San Diego (April 12)
- Raced with the varsity eight that beat Georgetown (April 19) to win the Healy Cup, which was the first time the Crusaders had ever won the Healy Cup
- Raced with the varsity eight that placed third in the third level final at the Eastern Sprints (May 18)
- Raced with the varsity eight at the IRA National Championship
Before Holy Cross:
- Four-year member of the varsity rowing team at St. Ignatius High School under coaches Matt Previts and Pat Connor
- Named team captain during senior year
- Team was Midwest Champions in 2011
- Set school record of having the top freshman 2K
- Was one of three rowers to ever get two medals at nationals
- One-year member of cross country team
- Team placed second at the states championship in 2012
- Rowed for the Wildcat Rowing club team under coaches Previts and Connor
