2014-2015: Coxswain of the varsity eight for one fall regatta and three spring regattas…was a part of the varsity eight that finished fifth out of 19 boats at the Murphy Cup…raced with the varsity eight that defeated Gonzaga (4/10)…member of the second varsity eight that defeated Bucknell (4/25) and Williams (4/25)…member of the second varsity eight at both the Eastern Sprints (5/17) and the IRA National Championship (5/31).

2013-2014: Coxswain of the varsity eight that placed first in the Snake Regatta (Oct. 12)…member of the club four that placed second out of 49 boats at the Head of the Charles Regatta (Oct. 20)…named Crusader of the Week (Oct. 21).

2012-2013: Coxswain of the freshman eight boat in the Snake Regatta (Oct. 13) that had the best time of any freshman boat…part of second varsity eight boat that won races against Marist (March 30) and Bucknell (April 28)…member of third varsity eight boat that had victories against Georgetown (April 20) and Rutgers (April 21)…named to 2013 IRA All-Academic team.

Before Holy Cross: Three-year member of the varsity rowing team at Nutley High School for coach Kevin Smyth…team won the Passaic River Sprints points trophy in 2009 and 2011…coxswain of the men’s lightweight four that placed third at the Garden State Scholastic Rowing Championship…competed at the 2010, 2011 and 2012 SRAA National Championship...vice president of Key Club from 2010-2012…member of National Honor Society and Italian Language Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Louis and Linda Brooks…has one brother (Louis)...majoring in Chemistry.
