2014-2015: Member of the varsity eight for all three fall regattas and all seven spring regattas… rowed with the varsity eight that placed first out of 17 boats at the Snake Regatta (10/11)…was a part of the varsity eight that finished fifth out of 19 boats at the Murphy Cup (3/28)… raced with the varsity eight that defeated Gonzaga (4/10)…rowed with the varsity eight that defeated #19 Georgetown to win the Healy Cup (4/18)…member of the varsity eight that placed first ahead of Hobart, Williams and Bucknell (4/25)…member of the varsity eight that defeated No. 16 Syracuse at the Eastern Sprints (5/17)…member of the varsity eight that finished a program-best 17th at the IRA National Championship (5/31)…member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy…member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

2013-2014: Raced with the varsity eight in all nine regattas throughout the fall and spring…member of the varsity eight that placed first at the Snake Regatta (Oct. 12)...part of the varsity club eight that came in sixth out of 47 boats at the Head of the Charles (Oct. 20)…member of the varsity eight that defeated No. 20 UC San Diego (April 12)…raced with the varsity eight that overcame Georgetown (April 19) to win the Healy Cup, which was the first time the Crusaders had ever won the Healy Cup …part of the varsity eight that placed third in the third level final of the Eastern Sprints (May 18)…raced with the varsity eight in the IRA National Championship…member of the Holy Cross Leadership Academy.

2012-2013: Member of the freshman eight boat in Snake Regatta (Oct. 13) that had the best time of any freshman boat…part of freshman eight boat that won a race against Marist (March 30)… part of varsity eight boat that won against Rutgers (April 21) and Bucknell (April 28)…received Francis “Bud” Ermilio Outstanding Freshman award.

Before Holy Cross: Three-year member of the Branford High School varsity basketball team under head coach Jake Palluzzi…team captain his senior year…four-time recipient of the Ray Orsene Desire and Dedication Award…a state finalist for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award…named the New Haven County Tip-Off Club Scholar-Athlete…selected as the SCC Scholar Athlete of the Month…received the Bob Ellis Award…two-year member and senior captain of the varsity track team under head coach Rich Biondi…member of National Honor Society, World Language National Honor Society and Science National Honor Society…president of the Italian American Club his senior year.

Personal: Son of Amy Hewitt … has one sister (Molly)...majoring in Biology.
