WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman goalkeeper Caleb Klepacz has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from September 7-13. Klepacz posted an 0.50 goals against average and an .889 save percentage for the Holy Cross men’s soccer team in a pair of games last week.

During Tuesday’s 0-0 tie at UMass Lowell, Klepacz recorded his first career shutout while making two saves. Then in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Navy, he posted a career-high six saves with the only goal he allowed coming on a penalty kick.

On the year, Klepacz owns an 0-2-4 record with 15 saves, a .577 save percentage and a 1.83 goals against average. 

Holy Cross (0-3-4 overall, 0-0-1 Patriot League) returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 19, when it heads to Lafayette for a 1 p.m. game.
