Senior forward Carlie Magier of the Holy Cross women's ice hockey team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition from Dec. 6 to 12. Magier led the Crusaders to a 4-2 win over Brown on Friday, Dec. 10.

In the victory, Magier scored two goals in the third period, including the game-winning goal. The effort marked her first multi-goal game of the season; she is tied for second on the team with six points this year off three goals and three assists.

For her performance, Magier was also named the Hockey East Player of the Week.

Magier and the Crusaders return to action on Jan. 2 when they host Providence at the Hart Center Rink.
