Holy Cross Athletics

Senior Jordyn Shubrick of the Holy Cross women’s track and field team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Jan 17. to Jan 23.

Shubrick smashed the 27 year old weight throw indoor record of 17.08 meters previously held by Amy Sparrow on February 13, 1994, with a 17.10 toss in a 93-88 win in a dual meet at New Hampshire on Saturday. Shubrick competed in the shot put event and recorded a 12.10 throw good enough for second place.

Holy Cross travels to the Terrier Classic on Friday, January 28 hosted by Boston University.
