WORCESTER, Mass. – Freshman guard
Kyrell Luc has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from Jan. 31-Feb. 6. Luc averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as the Holy Cross men's basketball team won a pair of games last week.
During Monday's 75-70 victory at Boston University, Luc led the team with 24 points, four rebounds and four assists. Then in Saturday's 69-65 win at Army, he recorded 16 points, six rebounds and two assists. On the week, Luc connected on 53.8 percent of his field goal attempts and 83.3 percent of his free throws.
Overall this season, Luc is now averaging 12.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per contest, while hitting 38.9 percent of his three-point attempts.
Holy Cross (6-15 overall, 4-5 Patriot League) returns to action on Monday, Feb. 7, when it travels to Colgate for a 6:00 p.m. game.
