WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Mackenzie Creagh has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week, for competition from April 13-19. Creagh helped lead the Holy Cross women’s lacrosse team to a 1-1 record in a pair of games against ranked opponents last week.

During Saturday’s 14-9 victory over No. 17 Loyola (Md.), Creagh totaled six saves, two caused turnovers and three ground balls, while allowing just nine goals. That marked the Crusaders’ first win over a ranked opponent in program history. Earlier in the week, Creagh made a season-high 14 saves at No. 14 Army West Point.

On the season, Creagh owns a 6-9 record with 125 saves, a 12.99 goals against average and a .398 save percentage. Over the course of her collegiate career, she stands 19-18 with 335 saves, a 12.66 goals against average and a .416 save percentage.

Holy Cross (6-9 overall, 4-4 Patriot League) returns to action on Thursday, April 23, when it plays host to Boston University at 5 p.m.
