Holy Cross Athletics

WORCESTER, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Julia Walsh of the Holy Cross women's soccer team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Sept. 18-24. 

Walsh posted two more clean sheets and has now tallied three consecutive shutout in goal for the Crusaders. She recorded one save in a 0-0 tie with Army on Wednesday, then had three saves in net during the 0-0 draw at American. Walsh was very vocal as she directed the Holy Cross back line to two scoreless results. 

Holy Cross (2-4-4 overall, 0-1-2 Patriot League) returns to action Saturday, Sept. 30 when it plays host to Bucknell at 1:00 p.m.
