Sophomore Will Messineo of the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for the week of Feb. 5 – Feb. 11.

Messineo posted five points on four goals and an assist in the Crusaders’ win over UMass Lowell on Saturday, adding two caused turnovers and three ground ball pickups.
 
Messineo scored the third goal of the game for the Crusaders to regain the lead in the first, before assisting on teammate Tyler Marmo’s goal that capped off a 5-0 run in the second quarter to give Holy Cross a 10-4 lead. In the third quarter, Messineo scored twice to bring the Crusaders’ lead back up to six, before picking up his final goal midway through the fourth quarter.
