Senior Tyler Ghirardosi of the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team has been chosen as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for the week of Jan. 29 – Feb. 4.
Ghirardosi posted six points over the Crusaders’ weekend sweep of Air Force, recording four goals and two assists, including the game-winner in both games, and finishing the weekend +4.

On Friday, Ghirardosi scored what stood as the game-winning goal with 4:41 remaining in the third period, before putting the game away with an empty net strike two minutes later. On Saturday, Ghirardosi picked up an assist on Jack Stockfish’s power play goal that regained the lead for the Crusaders, before once again picking up the game-winning goal with five minutes remaining. Ghirardosi then picked up the assist on Liam McLinskey’s ensuing empty net goal, before scoring one of his own to ensure the Crusaders’ win.
