Senior guard Kaitlyn Flanagan of the Holy Cross women’s basketball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition between March 9 to 15.
Flanagan led the Crusaders to their third Patriot League Championship in the last four seasons, winning Patriot League Tournament MVP honors following Holy Cross’ 77-70 win over Lehigh in the title game on March 15.
In three playoff games, Flanagan averaged 11.0 points, 6.0 assists, 1.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game on 50.0 percent (15-of-30) shooting.
The Crusaders earned a #15 seed in the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament and will square off against #2 seeded and #9 nationally-ranked Michigan on Friday, March 20. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN2.
