WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior midfielder Connor Waldron has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from Jan. 27-Feb. 2. Waldron led the Holy Cross men's lacrosse team to a victory at Merrimack in its season opener on Saturday.  

During the 13-12 win over the Warriors, Waldron recorded a career-high five points on two goals and three assists. He scored his first goal late in the first quarter to give the Crusaders a 4-1 lead, then found the net again in the fourth quarter to put Holy Cross up 11-10.

Over the course of his collegiate career, Waldron has now totaled 25 goals and 24 assists for 49 points.

The Crusaders (1-0 overall) return to action on Saturday, Feb. 8, when they travel to Providence for a 3:30 p.m. game.
