WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior forward Kevin Darrar has been named the ckSmithSuperior Crusader of the Week, for competition from January 20-26. Darrar led the Holy Cross men's ice hockey team to a 2-0 record in a pair of games last week. 

During Friday's 3-1 victory over Air Force, Darrar scored the Crusaders' final goal of the night to put the game away late in the third period. Then in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Falcons, he netted the first goal of the game midway through the second period. With the two victories, Holy Cross swept Air Force in a weekend series for the first time in program history.

On the season, Darrar ranks fifth on the team in scoring with 12 points on eight goals and four assists. Over the course of his collegiate career, he has now totaled 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points in 116 games played.

The Crusaders (8-12-5 overall, 7-10-3 Atlantic Hockey) return to action on Friday, Jan. 31, when they play host to RIT at 7:05 p.m.
