Holy Cross Athletics

Junior assistant captain and forward Alexia Moreau of the Holy Cross women’s hockey team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Nov. 4 – 10.  

Moreau netted the game-winner in overtime, her third goal of the year, to lead the Crusaders to a 2-1 victory over the Catamounts in Saturday night's away game. Fellow junior forward Lane Lewis earned the assist and Holy Cross earned its fifth win of the year.

Holy Cross women's ice hockey (5-5-1, 2-4-1) returns to action on Nov. 15 when they host New Hampshire (6-5-1, 3-5-0) for game one of a two-game set. Puck drop is slated for 6 p.m. at the Hart Center Rink for their CrossCheck Awareness game. The competition will be followed by a post-game skate with the team.
