Junior guard Mary-Elizabeth Donnelly of the Holy Cross women’s basketball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition Dec. 16-22.

Donnelly was the only Patriot League player to average a double-double with 11.5 points and 14.5 rebounds to go with 4.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per game for the Crusaders while leading the conference in rebounds per game last week. She shot 52.9% (9-of-17) from the field and 50.0% (4-of-8) from three-point land. Donnelly was named Patriot League honorable mention for her efforts.

In the win against Marist, she almost recorded a triple-double with 10 points, a game-high 12 boards, and a career-best seven assists with a block. She followed that up with her second straight double-double of 13 points and a career-high 17 rebounds with three triples, a pair of assists, a block while shooting (71.4%) (5-of-7) from the field during the victory at Northeastern. Her 17 rebounds at Northeastern (12/21) was a single-game Patriot League high for the 2024-25 season.

Holy Cross (7-4, 0-0 PL) begins Patriot League action on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 at Loyola (Md.) (5-5, 0-0 PL). Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
