Junior Jack Greiner of the Holy Cross men’s swimming and diving team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for competition Feb. 17-Feb. 23.

Greiner helped lead the Crusaders to an eighth place finish at the Patriot League Championship. It marks the second straight season that the Crusaders placed eighth which is their best showing in the conference championship since 2016-17.

He broke four individual team records. He led off the 200-yard medley relay and set a new team mark in the 50-yard split with a 23.24 time. Greiner was first for the 400-yard medley relay and swam the 100-yard backstroke and had a program-best time of 50.33. In the 400-yard individual medley, he finished 10th establishing a new team mark at 3:54.57. During the 200-yard backstroke on Saturday morning, he hit the wall in 1:46.85.

Holy Cross finished the season 4-2 and 1-1 PL while capturing the Worcester City Championship and placing third at the Harold Anderson Invitational back in November.
