WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross women's ice hockey team is ranked 14th in the country this week by USCHO. The Crusaders moved down one spot in the poll, while being ranked for the fourth consecutive week.
The Crusaders received 31 total points in the poll, to place 14th. Holy Cross was joined in the rankings by two other Hockey East teams, No. 5 Northeastern and No. 6 Connecticut.
Holy Cross currently stands 18-10-2 overall and 10-9-2 in Hockey East. The Crusaders have set a new program single-season record for Hockey East victories, while their 18 total wins are their most in nine years. Holy Cross currently ranks fifth in the nation in goals against average (1.62).
The Crusaders will return to action on Friday, Feb. 13, when they travel to Merrimack for a 2 p.m. game.
