WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross freshman forward
Violet Carroll has been named the 2026 Hockey East Pro Ambitions All-Rookie Team, as announced by the conference office. She becomes just the third player in program history to earn Hockey East All-Rookie honors.
Carroll has played in all 33 of the Crusaders' games this season, leading the team in scoring with 25 points on nine goals and 16 assists. She has scored two game-winning goals and two power play goals on the year, while posting a team best plus-minus of +14. Carroll has recorded five multi-point games, including a career-high three points on two goals and one assist at Connecticut on Nov. 1. Her 25 points and 16 assists are both the highest single-season total by any Holy Cross player in the Hockey East era.
Holy Cross (18-12-3 overall, 10-11-3 Hockey East) returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 28, when it plays host to New Hampshire in the quarterfinal round of the Hockey East Tournament. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., and admission is free.
