WORCESTER, Mass. — The Holy Cross men's lacrosse team had seven student-athletes named to the 2025 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division I All-Academic Team.
The Crusaders were represented by senior attackers
John Mitchell (economics) and
Henry Sheehan (political science), midfielders
Matt Carbonell (economics),
Owen Larson (economics),
Calahan McPherson (economics), and
Baker Reding (economics), and defenseman
Luke Shoemaker (biology).
Nominees must have senior or graduate student standing, a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale, and be an impact player for their team. A total of 354 student-athletes were selected to the All-Academic Teams across all three NCAA divisions, including 87 from Division I.
