WORCESTER, Mass. - Holy Cross men's lacrosse senior defenseman
Julian Jenkins was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league Monday afternoon.
Jenkins finished Saturday's matchup with Loyola with a career-best and game-leading five caused turnovers and tied for the game-lead with five ground ball pickups.
Jenkins has forced 16 turnovers this season, good for second on the team and sixth in the Patriot League. His 17 ground balls are third among defenders on the team.
Jenkins and the Crusaders (5-5, 2-3 PL) return to action on Saturday, April 4 when they travel to Annapolis, Md. to face Navy at 3 p.m. The game will be broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network.
