EASTON, Pa. – The Holy Cross field hockey team fell to Lafayette, 8-0, Saturday afternoon.

The Crusaders kept the Leopards off the board in the first quarter, and at halftime it was just 1-0. Lafayette picked up the pressure in the second half and added seven to take the game by the eight-goal margin.

Minke Koomen had two shots on the day and Emily Devine picked up her second defensive save of the year. Marcia LaPlante made 14 saves in goal for the Crusaders.
