The Lead: Senior Mike Galasso (Danvers, Mass.) and juniors Kalif Raymond (Lawrenceville, Ga.),  Francisco Tejidor (Coral Gables, Fla.), Tim Dunn (Fords, N.J.) and Dennis Muldoon (Weymouth, Mass.) led the Crusaders with first-place finishes in their respective events as the Holy Cross men's track and field team took second overall with 146 total points at Hart Track on Saturday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• In the 100-meter dash, Raymond took first with a time of 10.71 as senior Vuong Tran (Worcester, Mass.) recorded a tenth-place finish at 11.34. 
• Freshman Nicholas Boire (Manchester, N.H.) crossed the finish line in fifth with a time of 23.29 in the 200-meter dash with junior Dominic Abacherli (Boxborough, Mass.) taking ninth at 23.41. Bore also recorded a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash behind Galasso at 50.04. 
• Galasso outpaced the competition in the 400-meter as he took first with a time of 49.77. Junior Lucas Keefer (Yonkers, N.Y.) and Abacherli rounded out the top-10 as they placed seventh (51.15) and ninth (52.30). 
• In the 800-meter run, Tejidor recorded a first-place finish with a career-best time of 1:53.41, while senior co-captain Trevor Dutton (Burlington, Mass.) followed behind in second at 1:54.39. 
• Holy Cross took two top-10 finishes in the 5,000-meter run from Muldoon (15:07.10), who crossed the finish line first, while sophomore John Bentivegna (Staten Island, N.Y.) took seventh (15:37.36, career-best). 
• In the hurdles, sophomores William Raven (Newburyport, Mass.) and William Ward (North Attleboro, Mass.) took top-five finishes. Raven placed third in the 400-meter hurdles (15.89, career-best) with Ward (55.58) taking third in the 110-meter. 
•  The 4 x 400 meter-relay team took a first-place finish with a time of 3:19.57. 
•  Sophomore Kyle Quinn (North Andover, Mass.) cleared a career-best height of 1.85 meters and fifth place finish in the high jump. Dunn took the top spot in the pole vault as he cleared a height of 4.72 meters. 
• More top performances in the field events came from sophomores Fletcher Bonin (Portsmouth, R.I.) and Tyson Youngs (San Diego, Calif.) and senior co-captain Sean Carey (Newburyport, Mass.).
• In the long jump, Bonin jumped a career-best distance of 6.39 meters and a fifth-place finish. Youngs took fourth in the triple jump as he cleared a distance of 12.68 meters, while Carey threw a career-best distance of 47.17 meters in the hammer throw. 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE 

• Maine won the team competition with a total score of 175.50.

• The Crusaders return to the track on Sunday, April 26 as they head to Providence, R.I. to compete in the Brown Springtime Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
