Senior captain Liam Lyons of the Holy Cross cross country team has been selected as the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Sept. 29 – Oct. 5. 

Lyons was Holy Cross's top finisher, for the third straight meet, at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh on Friday, Oct. 5. He finished fifth overall, scoring four points and crossing the finish at 24:29.2 on the eight-kilometer course. Liam led the Crusaders to a fifth-place team finish (out of 38 teams) with a total of 191 points. The captain competed against 314 other runners.

Holy Cross cross country return to action on Friday, Oct. 10, when they take part in the New England Championship held at the Hopkinton Fair Grounds in Hopkinton, N.H.
