WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior midfielder Sinead Walsh of the Holy Cross field hockey team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Crusader of the Week for Aug. 21 to Aug. 28.

On Saturday, Aug. 27, she led her team to their first win of the 2022 season. In the 3-2 victory over UC Davis, Walsh contributed one goal and one assist. On Aug. 18, the Patriot League named Walsh to the Preseason All-Patriot League team for her performance during the 2021 season.

Holy Cross will travel to Fairfield for a matchup on Friday, Sept. 2, and host a game at Providence College against St. Francis (Pa.)  Sunday, Sept. 4.
